What do we do?
The Local Governing Body acts as a committee to the full MAT Board of the GLA and report to them to ensure standards are monitored. Governors work with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to promote continuous improvement in the education provided for all children attending our school. We work together to monitor the overall direction of the school and the implementation of policies, targets, development plans and more. As governors we work as a team, deciding on things jointly and sharing responsibilities for the actions we take.

How can you contact us?
If you would like to know more about the governing body or may be interested in becoming a governor please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the school office.
We hope that the children are enjoying their time at Longford Park Primary Academy. However, if you have any questions or comments about how the school is managed please talk to Mr Hinkley (Head Teacher) or contact the governing body through the school office and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible.
