The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. For more information from the Department of Education, click here.
Although the new school will not receive confirmation of funding until later in the year, we have identified children who are eligible and use school funds to ensure that provision matches the requirements of our strategy.
Our pupil premium strategy is regularly reviewed. For the review for 2017/2018, click below. This also includes our action plan for 2018/19.
Pupil Premium Plus is a payment made to schools to help raise the attainment of children in care. From 1 April 2014 all children in care, who have been in care under the Adoption & Children Act 2002 and children who have left care under Special Guardianship or Residence Order, are eligible for Pupil Premium Plus.
Our multi-academy trust holds an overall policy outlining the principles for the schools in the alliance. Please click here to visit the appropriate policy page on the Gloucestershire Learning Alliance website.
