The Academy Improvement Board

Each individual academy in the Trust has its own Academy Improvement Board comprising the Headteacher, the Director of Academies and two Trustees, one of whom chairs the board.  This group meet three times a year, following the thrice-yearly assessment windows.

The meetings enable challenge across the school in these core areas. 

• Statutory and non-statutory data;
• School strengths and areas for development;
• GLA priorities and updates;
• School improvement cycle;
• Quality of education;
• Behaviour and attitudes; 
• Personal development; 
• Leadership and Management;
• Early years provision.
