In Green class we are a group of kind, respectful children who enjoy achieving their best and following our school values. We always try our best in all areas of our learning. Our teacher is Miss Hibberd and we are supported by Mrs Brogan, Mrs Johnson and Mrs Harris.

Important Information
Homework:
- Reading should be completed a minimum of 4 times a week for 15 minutes. Pupils will have a ZPD book or a phonics book. Star Reader assessments and phonics assessments are given so the book is carefully matched to their current ability. Books will be changed every Friday if they have been read 4 times. Please record in your child’s reading diary when you have read.
- Spellings - These contain words to embed the sounds we have learnt in that week. Spellings will go out for the term and these will be tested once a week on a Monday.
- Times Table Rockstars – Please encourage the children to work through their assigned times tables to secure their understanding of mathematical concepts. Little and often is advised to practise this.
PE kit:
- House coloured t-shirt
- Black shorts
- Black jumper for colder weather
- Black P.E. slip-on or velcro pumps/daps/plimsolls or trainers that the child is able to manage themselves
For safety reasons, long hair must be tied back and earrings removed or covered.
Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays.
Forest School kit:
Children take part in outdoor learning whatever the weather and will need:
- Long thick jogging bottoms
- Long-sleeved t-shirt
- Waterproof coat/ all in one suit
- Wellington boots
- Extra hat, scarf, gloves
- Please ensure that all of these items are named.
This year Forest School sessions will take place in Spring 2 on a Tuesday.
